Recruiting Benchmarks for Medium-Sized Companies
According to the report, medium-sized companies with up to 2,000 employees are experiencing significant growth and investing in expanding their workforce. In the past 12 months, 30% of these companies made between 51 – 100 hires, and 26% made between 101 – 250 new hires. Furthermore, 52% of medium-sized companies anticipate making somewhat more hires in the next 12 months, indicating that the positive trend is set to continue.
When it comes to receiving job applications, medium-sized companies tend to receive more applications per role than small businesses, with some receiving up to 50 applications per requisition. However, this hasn’t stopped them from attracting a significant amount of job seekers, with 56% of medium-sized companies experiencing a moderate increase in the number of job applications per requisition they received in the last year.
